How are our chicks?

We are very worried about Marta, Demetrio and Petal. 

How much they have changed and grown.

Where and how they live, if they are happy, have friends...

We could see them...

 Here they are.

And...

This is their home. We could see that they are happy with a lot of friends and they are very well looked-after.

So we are happy too.

Amazing robots!!! Amazing workshop!!

These robots are wonderful!!



Then we did an amazing workshop! 
We followed all the instructions given by Julio. 
And... It worked!!!

We visited the IES Sefarad

We went to visit the Secondary School Sefarad, where pupils follow a project about robots, leaded by their teachers Julio and Mati. They have had a prize this year designing, building and operating their designs. There is also a fantastic technology classroom where students make wonderful works like models or mechanical and electronic devices. We visited them and could enjoy a lot all they show us.





They have a 3D printer, a special digital machine that make pieces of plastic in three dimensions connected to a computer that manage and show the whole process.

Marta, Demetrio y Petal are happy chicks!

These are our chicks!! 
They are now very big chickens.
Petal and Marta, two beautiful female chicks and Demetrio a strong and brave male chicken!! The most important thing is that they are very happy!!



And so they were.

Spells

We invented spells in year two, pretending to be witches.

Baby Hamsters

Susana had two hamsters and she and her family have checked that they were male and female. 
They have now three small, cute and wonderful baby hamsters. 
And they would like to find a home for them.

Clara has her "sevillanas dance" certificate

Clara likes dancing Sevillanas and she has had her certificate.

Casting

We have, also, a casting team. They have made the casting, choosing the best candidate for each role.

Maria and Noelia help us with our movie

These young girls are studying IMAGE at Alfonso X el Sabio Institute,  and they have wanted to help us, they are delighted with the project. They came to our school to teach something about shots and scenes. 
And now they are helping us with the  recording.

Our chicks are growing up!

Our chicken are growing up very quickly. They are 16 days old!

The script

This is our film script. We have teams working very hard. The  casting is taking place. Stylists are designing clothes, sound, music, the mise-en-scène...
Everything is going well.

Animals

We are studying animals in year 2, vertebrates, invertebrates...

My garden. A 3D experience.

We have design a garden, not anyone, but one with volume.

Bees in our school

On Monday we had an unexpected event, we had bees in our school, a swarm of bees. The headteacher started our protocol and all the windows and blinds were closed, then a call to the green patrol, the town hall and the firefighters. The green patrol arrived and then the firefighters, and they decided to call a beekeeper.
He came, took the swarm with his own hands, put it into a hive and all the problem was solved. At night, when bees were into the hive he would come to collect it.
Uff.
But we have learnt a little more about bees.

The birth of our chicks

Today was the great day, chicks birth´s day and our first chick "Marta", we have decided to name it was born in the afternoon, it took the all morning because at nine we could see that its shell was broken.
We have been so lucky that we have seen it. It has been very hard for him to get out, really very hard. He was so defenceless, wet and weak...


 

The last time we change the eggs

On Thursday 30th, it was the last time we went to change the eggs. Only four days left. The day of birth is on Monday.
