XX Anniversary of the MCDE-British Council Agreement

This  year we celebrate the XX Anniversary of our project, the MECD-British Council Agreement.

Experiment with mixtures

We have made experiments in Natural Science in year 4, but also in infantil 5. Why not?

We mixed  oil and water, juice and water, water and nails, water and pebbles, water and salt... 
And then we tried to separate them !

Pupils  have drawn what they have seen.

My English for your Spanish: Postcards

We have new friends in London. They are from Osmani Primary School and they study Spanish! 
So we are going to have a project with them in order to change information, real information. This year in late May they wrote us some postcards introducing themselves part in English and part in Spanish to practice both languages. 
After receiving them we answered them! 
Real Postcards from and to real boys and girls. This time have been year 3, 4 and 5 who have done the work.
From September on we´ll do more activities with them and who knows how many ?

Spells

We invented spells in year two, pretending to be witches.

Mother´s Day in year 2

On Sunday, we are going to celebrate our Mother´s Day. We wanted to give them a beautiful present.

St Patrick´s Day

St Patrick´s Day is on 17th March. St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, so his colours are green like all Ireland is. It´s said that he banishes all snakes from Ireland. 

         

Red Nose Day in Infantil

We talked about the meaning of Red Nose Day. It´s celebrated every two years.



And the day arrived. 13th March 2015.

On 13th March, it´s Red Nose Day and we like very much the different design of noses, but we are real designers and we want to design our own red noses.

Year 2 pupils like playing stories, here it is this about pets.

Red Nose Day

On 13th March, it is Red Nose Day. It´s a special day for  raising money for charity making something funny. You can do everything you like, the funniest the better. We are going to dress ourselves with something red, and we will paint our nose in red but if you have one red nose at home you can bring it instead of painting it. Also, we can paint our faces in a funny way.
For charity, children can bring some non-perishable food, that the school will give to Toledo Food Bank.
We will sing the Red Nose Day 2015 Schools Song.
