All the Primary children have had the opportunity to became spidermen as there is a new climbing wall. It´s a permanent rock climbing structure. These days some climbing instructors have made workshops for every Primary year. Infantil 5 wanted to see how children climbed, and... we were very lucky because we could practise a little. It´s very high for us, but some of us could do it really well. It´s so funny!!
Lucas likes very much experiments and he with his parents´ help has investigated how to make a volcano. He needs a plastic bottle, water, vinegar, dish detergent and baking soda. And he came to our classroom with his mother to show us that splendid experiment. Amazing!
On February the 2nd, it´s a special in the EEUU, it´s the day when they check if Spring is coming soon. A particular animal, a Groundhog called "Phil", looking at his shadow, can predict the upcoming weather. He lives in a burrow, hibernates and he when spring is nearby he goes outside and predict the weather. Funny!! It´s similar to our tradition with storks...
We like theatre. And we are so lucky that we could enjoy a play, "The Little Prince", in our own neighborhood, in the Sala Talia . We have worked about it before and after, because it´s the way we could learn and understand. We have found out all about the characters and the plot and we discovered that it is great. That helped us to better understand the play.
We went to the Library, we discovered a lot of things, and we practiced how to look for a title with different informations, we looked for the information and we got the Title what was asked. Wow! Funny and interesting. Now we can go to the Library and find any book we like!!
