Climbing walls in our School

All the Primary children have had the opportunity to became spidermen as there is a new  climbing wall. It´s a permanent rock climbing structure. These days some climbing instructors have made workshops for every Primary year. 
Infantil 5  wanted to see how children climbed, and... we were very lucky because we could practise a little. 
It´s very high for us, but some of us could do it really well.
It´s so funny!!

How to design Letters

Manuel has come to our classes to show us how to do funny letters. 
He is a great letters designer and illustrator.
He wanted to design "Abeja Pepa"that is our classroom pet but as he could not finish  it,  we promised  him to finish it .
And here it is.

Gregorio Marañón Market

There have been a MARKET in our school. A real market, a dual Spanish and English one. There were two BANKS  and several STANDS. 

We took our own organic shopping bags, went to the bank for money and then we went to do our shopping. 
Very interesting!
First of all, we learnt all about money, shopping , markets... and finally we did it. 
It was a dual market, but as we are English speakers, our main language was English. Congratulations!!

 

Red Nose Day

On 24th March we celebrated Red Nose Day, it´s a fund-raising event organised by Comic Relief, a charity organization in UK. It´s celebrated every two years. It´s a day to come together, have fun and get money. People perform different fun events and activities and one of them is wearing a funny sketched Red Nose. There are different designs for them and each time they change. We have designed our own red noses and... perhaps next year we can see our designs between them.

Visit to the Vivero Taxus

Last Monday we visited the "Vivero Taxus".  It was a great and funny day. We planted aubergines and also we did an owl  workshop.
Very beautiful owls!!
The day was sunny and hot, so we could enjoy our day with pleasure.
We want to do more visits and experiences like this. 

Real Robots

We have borrowed some robots from Sefarad Secondary School,  we prepared them and finally we could see how they work. 
It was a fantastic experience!!
Many thanks to the Secondary School and to Mati who allowed us to have the robots! Thankssss

Sports.
This year our Carnival Parade is about Sports. All our classes have worked about it and have designed their costumes with great cleverness. The parade was very funny and lively!

St Valentine´s Day! 

It´s the day when we wish happiness to our loved ones, our relatives, friends, boy/girlfriends, acquaintances... 
Infantil 5 designed fantastic St Valentine´s cards to give to their friends of the other class, and each kid  exchanged  his/her beautiful job with a  friend. They enjoyed  it a lot, and brought home a fantastic present!

Class Presidents in year 5

We celebrated the Constitution Day making elections like an act of democracy. We elected our Class President in both classes. We had a real ballot box, a polling station and ballot cards. Children did a responsible election. 
Congratulations.
